In this 1 hour Lunch & Learn, Summit Instructor, Lynda Jennings, OTR, RAC-CT reviews clinical documentation requirements under PDPM to have a better understanding of how to support MDS items utilized to establish the PDPM reimbursement rate.

 

 

About Lynda Jennings: 

Lynda Jennings, OTR, RAC-CT, is the Vice President of Clinical Services and Compliance at The Village of Incarnate Word. She is a seasoned clinician and operations manager whose healthcare experience spans 30 years with expertise in PDPM, Medicare/ Medicaid Policy, compliance, documentation audits, requirements of participation, denial management, and clinical programming. Prior to joining the team at The Village, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Touchstone Rehabilitation, overseeing the clinical and financial operations of twenty-three skilled nursing rehabilitation centers across Texas.

Lynda is an active member of the Texas Occupational Therapy Association serving on the local and state boards in various positions including serving as a past State Association President. She is currently a CEU content reviewer for TOTA. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators, receiving her certification as a Resident Assessment Coordinator in 2019. Lynda also serves on the University of Texas Health Science Center OT Advisory board. She is a recognized expert in her field and has been a guest lecturer on various topics. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, in 1990. She has maintained her National Board of Certification of Occupational Therapy since 1990.
