Matthew Connell, MPT is a physical therapist by education who now serves as a leader in the higher education and healthcare consulting arenas. Mr. Connell is the Dean of Nursing & Health Professions at State College of Florida and the founder and president of Connell Consulting Solutions, a healthcare consulting firm started in 2017.  Mr. Connell is also completing his doctoral degree in leadership from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY where he is researching the relationship between leadership skills and the successful management of corporate crisis. Mr. Connell is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Conference of Academic Deans (ACAD), the Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CEIA), and is an associate member of the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
